I have been in love with Jasmine Star‘s work for years.  She’s an inspiring photographer, business woman, and motivational speaker.  When I received word that she was doing a workshop in New York City, I knew I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.  I wanted and needed that boost in photography knowledge.  We met at M Wild studios which was a beautifully lit studio in the west side of Manhattan.  With a very small group of people, it was amazing to speak to Jasmine about the real deal of the wedding photography industry.  We covered marketing, business, settings, posing, and branding.  We even had the opportunity to work with models and really focus on how to get natural expressions from brides and grooms.

After a long day of being a sponge we ended with a candle lit dinner and chatting the night away at Seven Bistro.  I cannot thank enough Jasmine Star, JD Delatorre, Katherine Harris, and our lovely models for making this workshop happen.  I am ever so grateful for these moments that keep me up to date and inspired with wedding photography.  Cheers to a budding photography community and successful careers full of beautiful photographs and beautiful newly weds!  Please enjoy my experience with these photographs!
